Technical Program Manager - Engineering and Quality Operations

This start-up style division sits at the cross section of Azure Host & Innovations, Quality planning & experience, and customer productization. We ensure the Azure is performant, cost-efficient, and secure so that customers can trust Azure to run their mission critical workloads.

We work across hardware and software enabling acceleration of all product and technology areas. We interface with customers to infuse feedback loops into the technology we deliver a tenant of this is planning. We are hiring a Technical Program Manager - Engineering and Quality Operations to enable the execution of strategic and tactical Quality planning. Work with technology owners to drive clarity into the market on platform performance, reliability, and resiliency enablement areas. Then grow to close the loop on pilot initiative.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development

  o OR equivalent experience.

• 1+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
• 1+ years of experience on working with products with complex technical platform and following the concepts of modern software engineering principles.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: 
  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
• 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
• Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
• 1+ year(s) of experience working with hardware and/or software layers of public cloud environments such as Azure
• Passionate curiosity to innovate and solve modern complex problems while retaining focus on maintaining timeline, goals, and results.
  
• Demonstrated experience going from abstract to execution

Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.

• You will work with Software and Hardware Engineering to design and integrate solutions.
• You will also identify gaps and propose data-based mitigations for external customers, internal product teams, and technology owners.
