Trust & Security Services (TSS) org, provides integrated, intelligent, and secure services to all of Microsoft’s engineering teams to ingest, protect, and distribute Microsoft products at scale. TSS is chartered with the following responsibilities: • Lead and provide a comprehensive suite of PKI lifecycle management services. We maintain the highest standards of both logical and physical security to ensure that Microsoft’s brand remains trusted and secure. • CodeSign all products delivered to Microsoft’s customers. We sign all software binaries installed on a customer’s machines as well as many of Microsoft’s services components. • Provide cross-industry malware scanning capability to Microsoft. To help ensure that all product teams are compliant with policy, we provide an anti-malware scanning service that is powered by many of the major third-party Anti-Malware engines (including Windows Defender). • Provide regional “digital manufacturing” services to sign product bits, release, store, and distribute those to global customers. • Manage Microsoft’s Product Activation and Licensing services. • We work on massive-scale cloud services that securely distribute software content to billions of Windows and Linux devices. Our technology empowers customers around the world to keep their devices up to date and secure. Our services are actively utilized for Windows, Windows Server, Office, SQL Server, and many other products. Over 250M licenses are issued to our customers every month. Our unique engineering challenges are scale – we have close to 5B+ transactions per month, and a diversity of workloads – we sign and scan binaries, drivers, AAA games, and other digital contents. Ultimately, we are responsible for code signing, anti-malware scanning, and distributing software for all of Microsoft, and what we do has a company-wide impact. Required: Skills (must have) • Experience: o 5+ years of solid Design/Development/Testing experience using various technologies. • Engineering Practices: o Good experience on Requirement/Design/Code Review & Inspections practices o Experience with any of the following testing: performance testing, security testing, privacy testing, accessibility testing. • Other skills: o Ability to work in cross functional teams and strong interpersonal skills. o DevOps experience with strong passion for live site reliability. o Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills with a solid understanding of testing practices. o Excellent communication & cross-group collaboration skills. Skills (nice to have) o Knowledge of .Net, C#, Microsoft Azure technology. o Good understanding of agile development practices. Personal Screening (Cloud Screening) - Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings:
