Cyber-attacks are increasing in volume and sophistication, evading traditional defenses, and posing a growing risk to enterprises from outside criminal organizations and malicious insiders in the organization. The Microsoft 365 Defender suite leverages the Microsoft 365 security portfolio - including Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Office, Cloud Apps and Identity, as well as Microsoft Sentinel and XDR - to automatically analyze threat data across domains, building a complete picture of each attack in a single dashboard to monitor, hunt, detect and remediate threats.   •  B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software and Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Working experience in Java (or equivalent).
  • 3+ years of professional experience as a software engineer building large-scale systems.
  • Excellent teammate skills, effectiveness both in independent and collaborative work.
  • Ability to learn and use new technologies.
  • Ability to understand complex distributed systems and to know your way around them.

Qualifications: Other Requirements 

  • Background in data security and cloud-based applications.
  • Experience with databases (MongoDB, Cosmos DB, Redis, Azure Data Explorer preferred).
  • Experience with distributed computing platforms for high-scale systems and massive amounts of data (Kubernetes preferred).
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools (ADO preferred).
