Software Engineer

With continued growth in digital data and the desire to leverage data to address problems that touch all aspects of our lives, Azure Storage is growing to meet these challenges! The Azure Storage team is hiring a Software Engineer to join an agile and diverse engineering team for deploying Data Processing Unit (DPU) technology.

As a Software Engineer in Azure Storage, you will help build performant scale out block storage on DPU hardware. You will be involved in all phases of software development lifecycle; design, implementation, test, deployment and support. This opportunity will allow you to learn about cloud computing as well as building and supporting cloud services at scale.

Minimum Qualifications:

•  Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven 2+ years of experience coding in languages including C, C++
• Experience in developing software related to but not limited to storage or operating systems

Other Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Windows or Linux Operating System 
• Knowledge of distributed systems and storage 
• Good verbal and written communications skills
