Our team is the client team that develops the Authentication stack for the Teams client across all popular platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align authentication strategies with business goals and drive continuous improvement in authentication processes. 

   

We are looking for a passionate, versatile and energetic Software Engineer with the focus on front-end for Microsoft Teams, you will play a vital role in ensuring the security and integrity of our platform. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, implement, and maintain authentication mechanisms for our client applications, ensuring a seamless and secure user experience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and integrate authentication solutions that meet the evolving needs of our users and adhere to industry best practices.

Required Qualification: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of experience with front-end including, but not limited to, React or AngularJS, Node.Js, Typescript, HTML, CSS 
  • 1+years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on authentication and security.

Preferred Qualification: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience with identity management platforms such as Azure Active Directory (AAD) and familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g., Azure) is highly desirable. 
  • Ability to wear many hats, learn quickly, collaborate with partner teams, be a technical leader in design discussions, leadership skills to execute and drive the needed areas  
  • Proficient with problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $83,600 - CAD $159,600 per year.

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $108,100 - CAD $199,700 per year.
