The team works in the space of developing platform for Sovereign clouds that does boundary management. It's a holistic term for all activities relating to the sovereign cloud boundaries, including the enablement and control of the passage of data across those boundaries. Thus, this includes governance, enablement and the underlying technical and systemic capabilities such as Cloud Transfer Service (CTS).

CTS is a solution that provides a highly configurable security boundary between hyperscale Azure clouds, ensuring performance, scale, and resilience. It’s not just a firewall but a collection of capabilities that control information and data flows across the boundary, including inspection, verification, and controlled passage. This service is particularly relevant for organizations that require a high level of assurance over the transfer of information between two systems, domains, or networks, such as in the case of Azure, a Fully Instanced Sovereign Region and Microsoft networks and systems.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, or related technical discipline with 4+ years of experience
  • Strong in designing, coding, debugging & problem solving
  • Hands-on experience in coding on C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python or equivalent languages. Service Hosting solutions like Kubernetes or equivalent
  • Experience developing and shipping features in large scale distributed systems.
  • Effective communication skills

  • Able to write high quality code.
  • Strong at Problem Solving and Analytical skills.
  • Able to work/collaborate with teams across geos and functions.
  • Self-driven, Results oriented and be accountable for your work.  
  • Proven ability to establish trusted, effective relationships across diverse sets of stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills and cross group collaboration.
  • Ability to quickly pick up existing concepts and employ new techniques and strong problem solving.
