We're expanding the Azure OpenAI services team, a rapidly growing area within Azure, delivering the innovative GPT model family to our customers. We ensure these services are secure, compliant, and reliable, enabling customers to manage their AI operations confidently. The field is advancing quickly, introducing new features and models, presenting numerous challenges and opportunities to address our customers' evolving needs.

In this role, you'll influence the full spectrum of our services, collaborating with technology providers to integrate their AI solutions into Azure, creating premier services. We're a team that values hard work, enjoys our tasks, and is passionate about what we do. We're seeking software engineers who are eager to enhance Azure AI's performance, availability, scalability, and user experience by leveraging the latest in open source and cloud technologies and engineering practices throughout our software framework.

• Characteristics: Smart, excellent analytics & problem-solving skills, quality mindset, passionate
• Education: BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
• Languages: C#/Java/PowerShell/Python/Go
• 6+ years of architecture, /system design/OO design/product development experience
• Hands on experiences in developing and operating enterprise grade cloud services
• Demonstrated technical design, problem solving, coding and debugging skills
• Experiences with Cloud platform such as Microsoft Azure, AWS
• Experience with microservices architecture, Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience in distributed computing
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps or other Engineer System

• Design and develop scalable and high-performance services that ensure high reliability, security, and ease of troubleshooting
• Innovate and enhance features within existing systems while also spearheading the development of new functionalities
• Proactively enhance system reliability, conduct thorough investigations of both pre-production and production issues, and execute the necessary fixes
• Contribute to an on-call rotation schedule, covering 14-hour shifts per day for one week every three months, to maintain system integrity and responsiveness
• Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders across various geographic locations to integrate new features seamlessly
• Display a high level of enthusiasm and self-motivation, coupled with an ability to work collaboratively within a team
