Software Engineer II--Microsoft 365

The M365 Trust team is looking for a highly driven Software Engineer II to implement systems that reduce risk associated with 3rd party applications that are developed for Microsoft 365 online services. 

We are looking for a Software Engineer II to help design and implement regulatory compliance related scenarios for these important customers. This position would enable Microsoft to provide clarity on the level of compliance during development and auditing. Microsoft runs on trust and this team is a critical part of delivering on that promise.  This team will build systems, processes and experiences that demonstrate compliance levels in full transparency to our customers, auditors and internal developers.

Required Qualifications:

• BS Degree in Computer Science or related major.
• Proficient in the use of .Net Framework, C#, Powershell or similar tools in other platforms.
• 2+ years of software development experience in designing and building highly scalable online services with a proven ability to deliver high quality work on both web client and server side.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese with the ability and willingness to make people around you better.
• Awareness & passion related to cloud scale monitoring and big-data analysis.
• Ability to learn new areas quickly, to take on big challenges, and is unfazed by ambiguity.
• Confident in a fast-paced, agile development environment and can multitask fluidly.
• Familiar with secure software design concepts, data sovereignty concepts and data privacy regulations is a plus but not required.
