We are seeking a competent Software Engineer II to join our team at Xbox Gaming AI to be a key part of the team that is building the next generation of AI-powered services and frameworks. As a key contributor, should be able to lead through example and influence. You will be responsible for driving innovation and excellence in software development, focusing on machine learning (ML) systems and developing scalable services and products that leverage the latest AI. If you are a forward-thinking engineering professional passionate about leadership in cutting-edge technology and possess an effective foundation in cloud and services with solid experience with ML and AI, we encourage you to apply.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C++, C#, Python, or React.
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years experience in cloud-native software development with proficiency in Azure and Dev Ops practices and related tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Azure infrastructure and services, particularly with Windows on Azure.
  • Experience implementing RPA-based solutions in Windows.
  • Expertise in video game development, particularly in automation.
  • Previous exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $83,600 - CAD $159,600 per year.
