Software Engineer 2

We are looking for a Software Engineer 2 to join our team! The Internet of Things (IoT) is one of the hottest technology trends as new business and consumer scenarios are unlocked that rely on insights and control from devices of all sizes. In addition to device innovation that allows nearly ubiquitous reach and form factors the cloud has enabled new scenarios where it is routine to process petabytes of data and use advanced analytics to gain new insights. Azure IoT is already in production with millions of devices and trillions of messages a month already flowing.

The Azure IMDX front-end team is looking for talented engineers to design and implement tools that are intuitive and make it easy to manage these millions of devices effortlessly using technologies like React, Node, HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, TanStack and more. Required/Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• OR equivalent experience.
• Experience in web technologies like TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, Node
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
• Ability to navigate through unfamiliar code bases

Other Requirements: 

• Cloud Background check: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: 
• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• OR equivalent experience.

• Experience with C#, .NET and Visual Studio
• Competency with TanStack
• Experience with accessibility, localization, and security
• Technical design, problem solving, and communication skills

Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.
