Senior UX Engineer

OneDrive and SharePoint products deliver innovative and delightful experiences for personal and business users across devices and platforms. We empower people to create, share, and manage their content in the cloud, and collaborate seamlessly with others. We also work closely with other teams across Microsoft, such as Office, Teams, Windows, and Power Platform, to integrate our capabilities and provide a consistent and coherent user experience. 

Our team is a highly collaborative group of creative people including user researchers, product designers, UX Engineers, content designers, prototypers, illustrators, and more. We are looking for a Sr. UX Engineer to help us build the future of product experiences at Microsoft. This role offers the opportunity to significantly elevate the quality and craft of the experiences we ship. Required Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Graphic Design, Product Design, Visual Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field AND 3+ years experience working in product or service design and/or shipping production code
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Graphic Design, Product Design, Visual Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field AND 4+ years experience working in product or service design and/or shipping production code
  • OR equivalent experience.
• GitHub or other links showcasing your development skills OR a UI/UX portfolio is required. 
• Experience working with HTML custom elements or Web Component libraries (lit, FAST, etc). 
• Working knowledge of visual design tools such as Figma.  

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
