As a senior software engineer in the CELS team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable and reliable cloud services that enable Microsoft's licensing and monetization capabilities. You will work with a diverse and talented team of engineers, program managers, and business stakeholders to solve complex problems and deliver innovative solutions that impact millions of customers and partners worldwide. You will also mentor junior engineers, lead technical projects, and collaborate with other teams across Microsoft to ensure alignment and integration of CELS services.

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Significant professional software engineering experience, preferably in cloud services, distributed systems, or web development.
  • Strong programming skills in C#, .NET, or other object-oriented languages.
  • Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud is a big plus.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and service-oriented architectures.
  • Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases, such as Cosmos DB, SQL Server, or MongoDB.
  • Experience with agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Experience with project management tools, such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or GitHub.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for learning new technologies and delivering customer value.
