We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with great software design/coding skills to implement security solutions for the Azure platform.

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

o OR equivalent experience.

. 1+ year of experience with one of the following areas: cryptography, security, operating system internals or driver development.

Other Requirements:

. Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications:

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

o OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

o OR equivalent experience.

. Knowledge of UNIX or Linux.

. Experience implementing or maintaining software that use secure communications, cryptographic algorithms, public key infrastructure, or key management technologies.

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.

• A successful candidate is responsible for creating a well-defined plan for testing and ensuring the quality of solutions.
