Microsoft’s Cloud business is experiencing explosive growth, and the Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the infrastructure underlying this growth. Our mission is to deliver the world’s computer with an industry-leading supply chain. CSCP is responsible for strategic sourcing, customer demand forecasting, capacity planning and management, supply chain planning and execution, capacity provisioning, and decommissioning and dispositioning of datacenter assets worldwide.
The Sourcing team within Supply Chain Engineering is comprised of software engineers with diverse identities, backgrounds and expertise in various technologies. The team has come together to build a shared platform for the Sourcing processes of both the hardware Devices(Surface, XBOX, HoloLens etc.) and Azure Data centers, capitalizing on opportunities to work with the latest tech, focusing on innovation to build the foundational generation of systems & architecture to revolutionize the way Microsoft and Azure operate a sustainable and responsible supply chain.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience. 4+ years of experience in developing, customizing, tuning, troubleshooting, implementing, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations including high proficiency in X++ coding.


Preferred Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in developing, customizing, tuning, troubleshooting, implementing, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations including high proficiency in X++ coding.
  • Experience with DMF (Data Management Framework), Integrations and business events in D365 F&O. Comfortable with Git, and fully capable using LCS for deployments and configurations.
  • Knowledge in ADLS and Power platform capabilities with D365 F&O. Familiarity with distributed systems and event driven architectures Strong coding, debugging and problem solving skills. Ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts to a variety of cross-group stakeholders. Strong organization skills, a bias for action, and ability to deliver results. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently, prioritize workflow, ramp quickly, and meet demanding deadlines.
  • Proven ability to deal with ambiguity and drive for clarity. Ability to both work independently and coordinate across geographies.
  • Delivered features on D365 in the following modules; Inventory management, Product information management , Vendor management , Supplier collaboration. Familiarity with the following modules in D365 F&O; Procurement and sourcing, Master planning, Production control, Accounts payable/receivable.
  • Know-how to develop RSAT cases, utilize the SysTest framework, and execute performance tests. Current with the latest capabilities of the platform & application versions of D365 F&O. Experience in designing, building, and running cloud services at large scale in Azure.
  • Experience building and maintaining REST microservices or other SOA experience. Experience w/ Azure data technologies like Data Explorer (Kusto), Synapse, Databricks, Data Factory, SQL DB, Cosmos, Data lake etc. Experience building continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
