Senior Software Engineer -Mobile Engineer

The Microsoft 365 Engineering team is looking for enthusiastic and experienced mobile developers. Would you like to design and develop new AI-powered experiences that empower 100M+ monthly active users throughout Microsoft products - including Teams and Office - to be more productive? Required Qualifications:  

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related area AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, Swift, Objective C, Kotlin, Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, C, C++, C#, or Python. 
  • OR equivalent experience. 
• 4+ years of iOS UI development experience.  
• 3+ years of experience leading technical teams and making critical architecture decisions.  
• Expert knowledge of Apple technologies and frameworks including Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, AppKit, etc.  

Preferred qualifications  

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related area AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, Swift, Objective C, Kotlin, Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, C, C++, C#, or Python. 
  • OR Master’s degree in computer science or related area AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, Swift, Objective C, Kotlin, Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, C, C++, C#, or Python. 
  • OR equivalent experience. 
• Solid problem-solving skills, great teamwork, and most importantly, passion for UX.  
• Ability to communicate technical details clearly. 
• 7+ years of mobile development experience.  
• Experience developing Android applications or using native technologies or ReactNative. 
• Experience leading technical teams and architectural decision-making.  
• Proven track record of building reliable, well-tested applications with significant direct technical contribution. 
• Familiarity with Agile and iterative development processes.

• Develop new AI-powered features and user interfaces for M365 products.  
• Independently complete medium to large UX features, comprising multiple tasks, with limited guidance.
