Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science,Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

o OR equivalent experience.

• 4+ years of industry experience designing and developing enterprise-scale services & platformsusing one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, C#, SQL, Python, JavaScript/React. 
• 4+ years of experience working on large-scale distributed data processing systems.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:

• This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:. 

• 3+ years of experience building software on Azure. 
• 1+ years of experience in building financial systems. 
• 1+ years of experience of instrumenting observability like logging, metrics, tracing, auditing, etc. and other working knowledge of stacks like OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus, Jaeger, Fluentd, Zipkin, etc. 
• Experience in AI technologies: Azure Machine Learning and LLMs, Azure cognitive or AI search, text embeddings and vector search, PromptFlow and Chatbots, tools for AI model deployment and monitoring, etc.  
• Experience in big data and analytics technologies: Azure Event Hubs, Azure Data Explorer, Apache Spark, CosmosDB, or related technologies. 
• Demonstrated experience in an agile environment with develops model. 
• Demonstrated understanding of CI/CD pipelines. 
• Experience with front-end technologies such as React, Typescript and JavaScript. 

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.

In this role, you will be a part of a diverse team of highly technical software engineers responsible for building new, innovative, and large-scale solutions to facilitate the growth of the Financial Platforms on Azure.

• Responsible for the technical leadership and end-to-end development of large-scale distributed services and solutions.
• Design and develop advanced solutions leveraging generative models (like gpt4, ada, etc.) and natural language processing techniques for data augmentation and analysis. 
• Lead by example by producing extensible and maintainable code with appropriate design patterns and best practices to guarantee quality along with documentation for all produced code.
