Senior Software Engineer

The MSN Livesite Engineering team is dedicated to ensuring the health and security of MSN's services. Our primary mission is to develop tools and methods for maintaining service stability and responding quickly to incidents.

We focus on maintaining the safety of MSN's services, including tasks like DDoS Detection, and assist MSN service teams in the timely repair and recovery from various incidents. Additionally, we strive to build a strong livesite culture that enhances overall awareness of livesite issues and drives continuous improvements across MSN services.

We are currently looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with team members to develop tools, analyze data, and implement solutions that enhance the security and reliability of MSN services. Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fields
- 5+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, Python, C/C++, C#, Java, Scala or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of database platforms such as SQL Server, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB etc.

Hands on experience in leveraging large-scale systems (e.g. Spark, Kafka or equivalent systems)
Ability to meet Microsoft and/or government security screening requirements
DevOps experience supporting production systems
Experience of data science.
Experience in working with distributed teams.
