Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience
• Experience:  Proven track record of working on complex projects and delivering successful software solutions
• Technical Expertise:  
  • C++: Proficiency in C++ programming language.
  •  Machine Learning (ML): Strong understanding of ML concepts, algorithms, and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Familiarity with LLMs and Multi Modal language models 
  • Familiarity with Windows development 
• Problem-Solving Skills:
  • Ability to analyze requirements, design robust architectures, and write efficient code.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Agile Methodologies:
  • Experience working in an agile development environment

Other Requirements

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:  

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

As a Senior Software Engineer on Windows Shell AI Team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing cutting-edge software solutions with latest technologies including but not limited to Multi Modal language models. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to AI intense projects, and provide leadership in the development of AI-powered features for Windows.
