Cloud Operations + Innovation is the team behind the cloud. Within CO+I, Datacenter Construction Delivery (DCD) is responsible for delivering datacenter capacity for Microsoft’s cloud business meeting all safety, quality, sustainability, schedule, and budget requirements.
The DCD Construction Americas (AMER) Project Delivery Director - Engineering, Procurement & Construction provides critical leadership, ownership and accountability for the team's deployment and delivery of large-scale, campus and/or regionally based delivery solutions to predictably deliver Datacenter capacity.
This role is responsible for safe worksites by adhering to organizational and industry procedures; reviews prior audit results and relevant legislation to recommend and manage safety compliance. Influences and provides direction and coaching to internal and external partners to facilitate and accomplish complex, critical issues which may significantly impact global construction projects. Reviews and provides feedback to the team regarding resource procurement, allocation, and inventory. Develops, manages, and reports on Safety, Quality, scope, schedule, and budget for the AMER regional projects. Responsible for oversight and implements project risk identification/mitigation, governance and controls for all construction work activities. Partners and provides critical leadership with peers in Engineering, Supply Chain and Project Controls that forms the AMER Leadership Team (LT).
