Principal Software Engineering Manager

We are the Bing Places team that delivers great local search and maps experiences to hundreds of millions of global users as part of Microsoft’s Bing search experiences. We are responsible for building modern UX on multiple platforms leveraging the latest rendering technologies for web and mobile.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.
• Relevant years of experience managing a team of Software Engineers.
• Hands-on experience writing code in a Software Engineer or related role.

 Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with React and/or TypeScript, and good knowledge of CSS.
• Experience working across the full stack.

• Build and manage a diverse team of Software Engineers.
