We are looking for a Principal Software Engineering Manager. Are you looking to build Software as a Service (SaaS) applications to enable our business customers to undertake their journeys of digital transformation?

As part of the Dynamics 365 engineering organization, our team delivers business applications for Connected Customer Care – for contact centers supporting customers on real-time chats with AI and live agents. As a Principal Software Engineering Manager, you will work with senior business and technology leaders as well as internal business users and partners to conceive, design and implement Dynamics 365 applications and pick the technical architecture to solve their business needs. We are looking for a dedicated and committed senior leader who can inspire the team and drive design and development of Business applications & Industry cloud vertical applications and solutions leveraging the power of Power Platform, Microsoft 365, Office 365, and Azure. Our product builds on cloud-scale backend services, integrates AI services, and delivers end-to-end experiences through embedded web chat, social channels like WhatsApp, and extensibility through realtime APIs. Required/Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred/Additional Qualifications: 

• 6+ years people management experience
• Prior experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in object-oriented languages
• Knowledge of end-to-end Software development lifecycle

Software Engineering M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $161,600 - $286,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $209,600 - $314,400 per year.
