Join the OneDrive-SharePoint (ODSP) team, a vital part of the Office M365 ecosystem, based in Hyderabad. As a Data Scientist, you will address technically challenging AI problems in a full-stack cloud environment and contribute significantly to the roadmap and vision of both your team and partner teams.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent. 
  • 6+ years of experience in the data science field, proficient in languages such as Python, R, and SQL. 
  • Strong experience in agile teams with a customer-focused approach. 
  • Excellent communication and cross-group collaboration skills. 
  • Experience in Azure or other cloud and distributed systems is highly valued. 
  • Familiarity with advancements in large language models. 
  • Experience in big data analysis. 
  • Ability to think and operate as a product-oriented data scientist. 
  • Understanding of MLOps for deploying ML models to production. 
  • Proven ability to test and evaluate model performance. 

Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Doctorate in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science,
    • OR related field AND 1+ year(s) data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results)
    • OR Master's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science,
    • OR related field AND 3+ years data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results)
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science,
    • OR related field AND 5+ years data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results)
    • OR equivalent experience.
