• Support wet mechanical systems design for large‑scale, high‑tech semiconductor construction projects.

• Coordinate and review third‑party engineering deliverables for plumbing, hydronic HVAC, and water‑based process systems.

• Ensure designs meet project specifications, performance requirements, and applicable codes and standards.

• Collaborate with internal teams, external design firms, and vendors to align system designs with facility and manufacturing needs.

What’s Encouraged Daily:

• Coordinate and oversee third‑party wet mechanical system designs, including plumbing, sanitary, domestic water, and hydronic HVAC systems.

• Review engineering deliverables such as P&IDs, equipment specifications, calculations, and layouts for compliance with ASME B31.1, UPC, IPC, and project requirements.

• Perform technical evaluations of system performance related to flow, pressure, temperature, efficiency, and reliability.

• Conduct quality assurance reviews and risk assessments to address constructability, code compliance, and design accuracy.

• Utilize BIM tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks) to ensure integration with adjacent facility systems such as UPW and chemical distribution.

• Coordinate safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, including OSHA, EPA, and local building codes.

• Support commissioning by reviewing startup plans, validating equipment selections, and ensuring system readiness.

How To Qualify:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related engineering field, or equivalent experience.

• 3–5 years of experience in wet mechanical engineering for industrial or high‑tech facilities.

• Minimum 2 years coordinating or reviewing third‑party design for plumbing, HVAC hydronic, or process piping systems.

• Knowledge of relevant codes and standards, including ASME B31.1, UPC, IPC, and ASHRAE.

• Proficiency with engineering review tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or Navisworks.

What Sets You Apart:

• Experience with wet mechanical system design in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or data‑center environments.

• Professional certifications (e.g., PE, LEED AP, CPD).

• Experience with BIM workflows, clash detection, and design integration.

• Ability to perform system modeling and analysis (e.g., PSA, hydraulic modeling, PipeFlo).

• Familiarity with controls systems interfaces (PLC, SCADA) for mechanical systems.
