Within the Research and Development (R&D) organization, the Scribe Design Group drives innovation in advanced process technology through scribe test structure development, layout, verification, and validation.

As a Senior Engineer - Verification Enablement, Test Structure Build and Layout, you will support the development and validation of advanced process technologies by enabling verification flows for scribe test structure composition, CAD automation, layout development, and reticle creation. You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to improve design quality, accelerate technology development, and support successful manufacturing integration. Using Artificial Intelligence

Responsibilities

  • Enable and support verification flows for scribe test structure build, layout, and reticle development.
  • Contribute to the development, layout, optimization, and validation of memory, logic, analog, and mixed-signal circuits.
  • Conduct modeling, simulation, parasitic extraction, and post-layout verification employing industry-standard EDA tools.
  • Develop and maintain automation solutions to improve building efficiency, quality, and standardization.
  • Work together with diverse groups to aid in process development, manufacturability, and upcoming memory technology advancements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in IC build flow development, memory design, mixed-signal design, or layout engineering.
  • Strong understanding of front-end and back-end analog/mixed-signal build flows, methodologies, and verification techniques.
  • Practical experience using SPICE simulators (HSPICE, FineSim), schematic entry, netlist extraction, and post-layout verification.
  • Experience developing automation solutions using SKILL, Python, Perl, Bash, or C-Shell scripting languages.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of semiconductor device physics and electrical fundamentals.
  • Experience with physical verification flows including LVS, DRC, PEX, and Calibre SVRF/TVF rule deck development.
  • Knowledge of machine learning methodologies and their application to semiconductor build environments.
  • Experience coordinating or maintaining engineering collaboration portals such as Confluence and SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI and data analytics tools.
