Job Title: Data Visualization Intern

Location: MSB, Bendemeer

Duration: 3 months (May to August)

About the Role:
We are looking for a Data Visualization Intern to join our team and help transform complex data into compelling visual insights. This role is ideal for students with a passion for data storytelling, analytics, and design. You will work closely with data analysts, engineers, and business teams to create interactive dashboards, charts, and reports that drive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
• Work on a project in designing and developing interactive data visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Python (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly).
• Analyze large datasets and generate insights to support business strategies.
• Work with structured and unstructured data to create meaningful visual representations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and present findings effectively.
• Optimize and improve existing dashboards for better performance and usability.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in data visualization.

Requirements:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio, or similar).
• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python (Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly) or R (ggplot2, Shiny).
• Understanding of data manipulation and querying (SQL is a plus).
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills to present data insights clearly.
• Prior internship or project experience in data visualization is a plus.
