Join Micron Technology, Inc. as a Product Engineer Intern within the DRAM Engineering Group (DEG), where you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development of cutting-edge DRAM products. You will be instrumental in coordinating resources, conducting tests, and performing analyses throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in simulations and create comprehensive design documentation.
• Analyze parametric data to identify and address product failures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering and Manufacturing to develop, validate, and optimize device testing programs, ensuring they meet precise product specifications.
• Conduct failure analysis using data and tester evaluations to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Develop and implement solutions for design or process-related failures.
• Partner with Quality Assurance (QA) Teams to analyze customer returns and formulate new test strategies.

Specific Tasks:

• Handle and operate DRAM products.
• Perform detailed failure analysis and evaluations.
• Develop innovative solutions for design and process challenges.
• Collaborate with QA teams to enhance test strategies based on customer feedback.
• Hardware modifications to graphics cards to install sockets for the graphics memory (GDDR), soldering probes on the graphics cards to measure signals.
• Software solutions including executing/modifying test diagnostic packages in Ubuntu to stress graphics memory.

Essential:

• Proficiency in English.
• Background in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• Strong C/C++ and python coding skills.
• Experience with a linux environment (Ubuntu, CentOS). Can traverse directories (cd, ls), edit files using text editors (vim, vi, nano, notepad), modify/execute existing shell scripts, and remote access different systems (SSH, SFTP).

Preferred:

• Knowledge of VLSI, Semiconductors, and Nanotechnology.
• A keen interest in PC systems, including experience in assembling or overclocking.
• Soldering experience
• Hardware prototyping and troubleshooting experience
