Engineer / Senior Engineer / Principal Engineer, Front End Central Team, Device Engineering

As a Device Engineer in Micron's Frond End Manufacturing Central Team, you will be responsible for working closely with the global Micron network to improve Device performance to meet product yield and quality requirements, through optimizing process steps, reduce device variability, optimizing design layout or test specs, and improving device engineering business process and working methodology. The primary focus is DRAM, but might expand to NAND when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with relevant working experience is required. Master's or Ph.D. degree in Physics or Engineering areas is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in fab process or process integration or test engineering. Direct experience in CMOS or memory device engineering is strongly preferred. Ph.D. candidates without working experience can be considered.
• Solid background in semiconductor physics. Understand transistor operations, scaling limitations and reliability. Good understanding of basic CMOS circuits and characterization methods. Experience in advanced transistor architectures such as High-K metal gate or FinFET is preferred.
• Deep understanding of at least one fabrication process area, including process mechanism, tuning knobs, tool sets, etc
• Excellent data analysis skills using at least one software (JMP, SPOTFIRE or Y3).
• Strong job ownership, Self-motivation and passion to work with other team members to solve problems together. Be comfortable of driving projects with othre team to achieve success.
• Willingness to learn semiconductor device and quickly adapt to new working style
• Good team work with other teams to achieve success.
• Good communication skills. Fluent in English (speaking and written). Working-level communication capability in Mandarin Chinese or Japanese is preferred
• Good computer skills with MS office. Programming experience such as Python is a plus
