1) Supervision & People Leadership (Shift Technician Management)

  • Partner with APTD teams during product transfer to acquire and institutionalize EFA and PFA knowledge.
  • Translate APTD knowledge into manufacturing‑ready FA strategies, screening plans, and disposition guidelines.
  • Ensure FA lab readiness (tools, kits, methods, documentation, and technician training) prior to HVM ramp.
  • Own EFA kit definition and readiness for NPI products.

2) Electrical Failure Analysis (EFA) – Engineering Depth

  • Apply advanced FA tools (e.g., IV curve tracer, micro-prober, bench tester) and interpret results holistically.
  • Perform cross‑correlation of ATE data, bench measurements, and FA findings.
  • Support complex assembly‑related failures and high‑impact escalations.
  • Coach and mentor technicians on EFA techniques, fixing approaches, and data interpretation.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or other related field
  • Experience in failure analysis, test engineering support, or manufacturing troubleshooting
  • Proven track record to translate data into sound engineering decisions.
  • Willingness to provide off‑hour support for critical issues impacting shift operations (as needed).
  • Leverage Microsoft Copilot and other approved AI solutions to improve efficiency and decision-making.
  • Apply AI assisted methods to accelerate learning cycles, troubleshooting, and technical investigations.
  • Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills

  • Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels

  • Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning

  • Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus

  • Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable
