Micron's Corecomp Design team has an opening for a Member of Technical Staff at the Senior or Distinguished Member level.  

As a DRAM Architect, you will be responsible for optimizing DRAM for power, performance, and cost, pioneering new features, analyzing systems, and developing system solutions. You will collaborate with Micron’s global teams to advance our DRAM solutions, ensuring they deliver the best performance, cost-efficiency, power efficiency, quality, reliability, and time-to-market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive solutions and tools to optimize DRAM and DRAM system performance and power efficiency.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to brainstorm and implement innovative ideas, assess solution efficiency, and make necessary adjustments.
• Drive innovation in future memory generations within a dynamic work environment.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to engineers from various backgrounds.
• Mentor and develop team members, providing education and training to support the creation of new features and tools.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Memory design and product engineering, or
• Proven experience in Memory specifications and operations, or
• Proven experience in Memory system architecture and usage
• 12+ years of proven experience in Memory industry
• 3+ years of leadership experience

Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field with equivalent experience. Master's degree in these fields is preferred.
