As an Assembly & Test (AT) Manufacturing Systems Change Engineer your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- The maintenance of manufacturing master data in compliance with company policies, workflow definitions and change management rules and expectations.
- Maintain and develop an expert level knowledge base with respect to the AT manufacturing systems, including but not limited to key Micron in-house solutions, Siemens Team Center, Siemens Op Center (Camstar) and Critical Manufacturing.
- Liaison with IT. business and manufacturing to understand requirements and collaborate on system configuration integration, updates, and changes.
- Assist in deployment of changes and improvements as needed.
- Develop and maintain a solid understanding of PLM core competencies, especially as they relate to the management of changes in the manufacturing line and master data.
- Communicate changes to the network as defined by established business processes.
- Responsible for supporting and leading project tasks.
- Maintain system configurations to meet defined expectations and business rules with quality and accuracy as paramount considerations.
- Support and maintain the systems change management processes.
- Solve customer issues on systems and configurations.
- Liaison with AT Systems Frontier Team on continuous improvement activities as needed.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing and IT department to test and verify changes and improvements.
- Track, report, and drive improvements using metrics designed to measure effectiveness of the change management process.
- Update and create key documentation to reflect changes, as necessary.
- Train customers, support teams, and the business on system changes, new functionality, new change processes, etc.
- Team with IT and Micron security to ensure the appropriate level of system access is made available to the correct team members.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution
- At least three (3) years experience working with manufacturing controls systems and/or master data management
- Experience with Siemens Team Center, Critical Manufacturing MES, MAM, ATLAS, WWMS, CTS
- Project management experience
- Database skills with SQL scripts and stored procedures a plus
