Job Description:

· Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of existing clustered HPC systems and develop strategies to enhance performance, scalability, and utilization.

· Serve as a primary technical contact for HPC end users, providing guidance on running simulations and promoting best practices across the user community.

· Design, write, and maintain software to drive, tune, and monitor EDA workloads within the HPC grid.

· Create and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation related to HPC infrastructure and EDA workflows.

· Research emerging software and systems technologies to support recommendations and purchasing decisions.

· Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure secure, stable, and optimized HPC operations.

Requirements/Qualifications:

· Minimum of 2.5 - 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or High-Performance Computing.

· Hands-on experience with HPC system software and cluster management tools, including job schedulers such as LSF, SGE, RTDA, or similar.

· Strong proficiency with Unix/Linux operating systems and file systems.

· Fundamental programming and scripting skills using Bash, Perl, Python, Tcl, and/or C/C++.

· Experience with Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools and suites from Cadence, Synopsys, and Siemens.

· Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence frameworks (e.g.,LLM, TensorFlow) is a plus.

· Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership for complex, large-scale computing projects.

· Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently identify and resolve HPC grid issues.

· Ability to define and implement processes that maintain system performance and promote best practices.

· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

· Proven ability to build positive working relationships and collaborate effectively with team members.
