Job Description:
About the Opportunity
Are you looking to begin your career in analog and mixed-signal IC design while working on innovative semiconductor solutions? As an Engineer I in the Analog / Mixed-Signal Design team, you will contribute to the development of next-generation integrated circuits used across industrial, automotive, communications, data center, and consumer applications. This role provides the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers on high-performance analog and mixed-signal designs from concept through silicon validation.
Job Description
In this role, you will:
Design and simulate analog and mixed-signal circuit blocks including ADCs, DACs, PLLs, voltage regulators, power management circuits, precision analog, and low-power I/O circuits.
Develop testbenchs and test cases for analog and mixed-signal circuits.
Perform transistor-level circuit simulations for functionality, noise, timing, power, and performance optimization.
Conduct post-layout verification including parasitic extraction and corner analysis.
Develop behavioral models of analog circuits
Prepare technical documentation including design specifications, simulation reports, test plans, and characterization results.
Support bench characterization and silicon validation using laboratory measurement equipment.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
Understanding of analog and mixed-signal circuit fundamentals.
Knowledge of CMOS device physics and semiconductor technologies.
Familiarity with analog building blocks such as amplifiers, regulators, ADCs, DACs, PLLs, or power management circuits.
Experience with circuit simulation tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, SPICE, or equivalent EDA platforms.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred:
Internship or academic project experience related to analog or mixed-signal IC design.
Exposure to post-layout simulations, parasitic extraction, and silicon characterization.
Familiarity with scripting or automation tools such as Python or MATLAB.
Understanding of lab equipment and semiconductor measurement techniques.
Experience with data converter or clock-generation circuit design is a plus.
