Application Overview

S2S applications are playing a central and major role in Michelin order to cash processes and especially around API exposure which is one of their main purposes. 

Related to this central position, S2S applications rely on architecture and technologies which provide a very high level of operability, scalability, and performance. Some of the advantages of joining S2S:

Solution Consultant 

Missions: 

Contributes to defining IT solutions, based on business ambitions, understanding of business processes and mastery of functional architecture. 

Offers the best compromise between Standardization / Simplification / Customization to meet business needs. 

Contributes to the standardization of IT and guarantees that the proposed IT solution complies with the principles of support, maintainability, scalability, and performance.  

The Solution Consultant works in collaboration with the Product Architect and Product Owner 

Understand the functional processes of the Michelin supply chain to better meet the needs of OPE AVAL and PDSI projects. 

Ensure the customer is obtaining the business benefits as compared in the business case.  

Activities: 

Participate and be an actor in the Agile Team (routine: Daily, retro, demo...) 

Offer the best compromise between Standardization / Simplification to meet business needs. 

Contribute to the standardization of IS and guarantee that the proposed IS solution complies with the principles of support, maintainability, and scalability. the SC works in collaboration with the product architect 

Understand the functional processes of the Michelin supply chain to better meet the needs of OPE AVAL and PDSI projects. 

Support application on L2/L3 level 

Participate in User story creation. 

Participate in Test Strategy 

Share with developer to ensure full understanding 

Implement scalable technical solution 

Take into consideration FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) and performance requirement. 

Follow all guidelines, processes, naming conventions, operability rules in place for the domain and Michelin DCSI 

Self-directed with ability to excel in a fast-paced environment. 

Work well in a team environment and can work effectively with people at all levels in the organization.  

Skills: 

Technical 

Order to Cash Process 

Functional Analysis è Translate business needs into functional & technical specifications for developers to implement the solution. 

Strong knowledge on API, REST API design, API managers 

Knowledge on integration architectures : EDI, API, event driven (ideally Kafka) 

Basic knowledge on technologies we use: Java, Kubernetes, Kafka 

Basic knowledge of architectural patterns 

Experience in business analysis and functional analysis.

Ability to communicate in simpler terms on complex topics. 

Customer oriented 

Support, operability and run oriented. 

Good interpersonal, communication, persuasion, and presentation skills 

Office Timing: 

Candidate will have to work in shift mode to adjust to French hours. Must be available from 9 am CET to 5 pm CET
