The impact

Method’s largest customers are building the next generation of financial products. We’re hiring a Forward Deployed Product Manager to help shape what they build next and turn those ideas into meaningful growth for both their business and ours.

As part of Method’s Product team, you’ll be the dedicated product partner for a set of our most strategic accounts. You’ll work directly with senior product leaders to understand their ambitions, spot opportunities they haven’t considered, and bring a clear point of view on what’s possible with Method. You’ll bring them ideas of your own, develop theirs, and own the path from the first conversation through launch, bringing together Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success to make it happen.

This role combines product strategy, deep customer relationships, and the resourcefulness to get things built. You’ll test ideas with customers early, turn feedback into concrete next steps, and stay accountable for the outcome. As an early member of this team, you’ll also help define how Method partners with its largest customers to build new products and grow.

What you'll do

• Own the strategic product relationship with Method's largest accounts, working with these customers to identify, then build, new initiatives and revenue opportunities.

• Collaborate directly with our customers’ CPOs and product leaders, building relationships where you are their first call for anything net-new involving Method.

• Orchestrate the full account team, pulling in Sales, Customer Success, Implementation, and Engineering at the right moments to bring these initiatives to life.

• Proactively put new ideas in front of customers early, learn from their response, and iterate quickly.

• Help define the playbook for how Method runs forward-deployed coverage as the model expands to more accounts.

• Work cross functionally to guide strategy on maximizing value from existing customer integrations

Who you are

• You have a consulting, client services, customer success, solutions, or account management background, and you are at your best in front of senior customers.

• You have product instincts, either as a PM or through a track record of shaping what gets built from the customer side.

• You are technically fluent enough to talk APIs, data flows, and performance tradeoffs with engineers and product leaders.

• You stay with hard problems and do not need a perfect plan to get started.

• You default to action: when you have an idea, you test it with the customer instead of talking yourself out of it.

• You have taste, and you care about doing the work the right way.

• You can operate both reactively (customer has an idea you run with) and proactively (you chase customers to explore your new idea)

• You already use AI tools to move faster in your day-to-day work.

Extra Awesome

• Experience at a fintech, lending, payments, or financial data company (e.g., Plaid, Stripe, Cash App, SoFi).

• Background at a top consulting firm before moving into an operator role (CS, bizops, solutions, or product for example)

• Exposure to lending, underwriting, or credit data.

The annual US base salary range for this role is: $180,000-$220,000.

In-office Policy

For most roles are Method, we expect a regular in-person presence at one of our hubs in NYC, Austin, SF or DC. We have embedded flexibility to work remotely for a week here and there, but the general expectation is a minimum 2-3 days/week in office on average. What does not work is full-time remote.
