Job Description
Universal Discovery and uCMDB High Level Architecture Design
Develop dedicated UD probes and UD S&F Web Servers at the 3 Primary NOCs
Develop dedicated physical UD probes and UD Store and Forward Web Servers
Develop Four (4) Universal Discovery Store and Forward Web Servers
Design Universal Discovery probes to send CI data upstream to the existing uCMDB servers based on region; uCMDB will assign / tag “unmanaged” to the CIs in uCMDB based on the UD system used
Design regional uCMDBs, and collect/aggregate data UD from Discovery Probes
Incorporate Four (4) uCMDBs in the current solution into the expanded design
Expand current design to support a fifth uCMDB, which will be add for capacity
Incorporate physical servers, virtual servers, Unix OS, and Oracle 11g
Incorporate Three (3) uCMDB application servers and two (2) uCMDB database servers into the single construct expanded design.
Qualifications
Secret clearance needed, maybe interim; Security+ is preferable but not required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High level architectural skills for UD/UCMDB with emphasis on segmented networks with firewalls, load balancers and XML firewalls. Candidate also needs intimate knowledge of discovery security, Ports/Protocols/Services tables and both a regionalized and aggregated UCMDB implementation.
Experienced in defining database requirements and identifying UD/uCMDB information needed to meet requirements
Hardening of configuration to meet SRG (STIGS) to ensure security compliance
+10 years of UD/uCMDB experience
+5 years configuration / hardening to STIGs
