JOB SUMMARY
Our Brand Licensing & Partnerships team is looking for a Prop Styling Assistant to aid in photoshoots of Better Homes & Gardens Collection products for packaging and marketing purposes. The Prop Styling Assistant will collaborate with a crossfunctional creative team to deliver high quality photography and video of our licensing line across home and garden categories and is a key member of the team, expected to assist greatly in the preparation and planning parts of the photo process. Because we shoot the majority of days in each month, this person will be expected to be in our Des Moines office most days of the week.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

80% Inventory Maintenance, Photo Shoot Planning and Assistance:
-Prop Styling Assistant will help the Photo Stylist while on set by moving items, pulling props, and running errands
-Prop Styling Assistant should be available to help any members of the photo shoot crew, including the Art Director, Creative Services Manager and Photographer as needed to facilitate smooth run of shoots.
-Non-shooting weeks will be used for prep work and collaboration with the team on other projects, which may include working off-site.
-Expected to unpack and assemble merchandise samples and enter those into our team systems (Airtable / Basecamp) in a timely manner.
20% Misc. Business Support
-Attend weekly team planning meetings.
-Responsible for keeping prop areas organized and facilitate prop clearance as items drop out of the line.
-Utilization of team systems and tools inclusive of Airtable, Basecamp, Google Suite, etc.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Associate Degree or comparable work experience (3+ years in related field)
Computer skills in Google Suite
Familiarity with Basecamp and Airtable a bonus.
EXPERIENCE
A general knowledge of photo shoots and merchandise coordination will be needed to collaborate with crew members.
