A Day in the Life

Peripheral Vascular Health therapies treat patients with Peripheral and Carotid Artery Disease, End-Stage Renal Disease, Superficial and Deep Venous Diseases, and a variety of conditions treated with Peripheral Embolization. The operating unit leads the way in the Superficial Venous, Deep Venous Stenting, AV Access and Drug-Coated Balloon markets, caring for over 1 million patients globally with lifesaving and life-enhancing therapies.
A Day in the Life:
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Designs, develops, analyzes, troubleshoots and provides technical skills during research and/or product development. Of which may include:
Mechanical design: An understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts in the field
Prototyping of designs
Design characterization and design selection
Develop product specs, test methods, equipment. Execute tolerance analysis
Working knowledge of DRM and statistics
Creating, reviewing and approving of protocols/reports
Interpreting test results
Being responsible for subsystems of designs or smaller designs in their entirety.
Translation of design inputs to design outputs
Must Have (Minimum Requirements): To be considered for this role, the minimum requirements must be evident on your resume.
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
OR
Advanced degree with 5 years of relevant experience
Nice to Have (Preferred Qualifications):
Modeling, Simulation and FEA experience
CADD experience (solidworks and autocad preferred)
Experience with medical device-based products, processes and technologies
