Would you like to work in an environment where your technical abilities will be challenged on every project?   If so, you will be a great addition to  Medtronic Diabetes Data and Analytics team .We are seeking a Principal Data Engineer – data engineering to build high quality, scalable and resilient distributed systems that power Medtronic Diabetes analytics platform and data pipelines. 

As a Principal Data Engineer – data engineering, you will be a hands-on data engineer, you will design and deliver scalable and high-performance data warehouse and lakehouse solutions using Databricks on AWS, leveraging best practices in data engineering, cloud-native technologies, and modern data architectures to drive impactful business outcomes.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

Must Have Requirements:

• minimum of 7 years of IT experience with bachelor’s in science, engineering or technical field
• or, 5 years of data engineering experience with advanced/master’s degree

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$127,200.00 - $190,800.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
