Senior Associate Quality Engineer
Position Summary
McKesson Corporation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Associate Quality Engineer with a solid foundation in test automation, API testing, and performance validation. With 2+ years of experience, the ideal candidate will support the development and execution of testing strategies to ensure the reliability and performance of our software products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium or Playwright.
- Support integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using platforms like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps.
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
- Assist in performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the software lifecycle.
- Apply AI-driven testing methodologies to optimize defect detection and validation workflows, implementing AI solutions within quality assurance environments
- Document and manage test cases, execution, and results using test management tools like Jira or TestRail.
- Analyze test outcomes, report defects, and participate in root cause analysis.
- Contribute to process improvements and adoption of new testing technologies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). With 2+ years of relevant experience including internships.
Critical Skills
- Solid understanding of test automation frameworks, API testing, and basic performance testing.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience implementing AI/ML concepts and their application in quality engineering
- Experience with CI/CD tools and basic DevOps practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Attributes
- Exposure to healthcare, supply chain, or logistics domains.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Interest in AI/ML concepts and their application in quality engineering.
