Principal Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Leadership and Strategy: Lead data science projects from inception to completion. - Define and implement the data science strategy in alignment with organizational goals. - Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business objectives and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Project Management : Oversee the entire lifecycle of data science projects, including planning, execution, and delivery. - Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, product management, and business stakeholders
• Technical Expertise : Develop and implement advanced statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques. - Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and make data-driven recommendations. - Stay up to date with the latest developments in data science and artificial intelligence.

Mentorship and Development:

• Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
• Provide training and development opportunities to team members.

Communication

• Present findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for executive leadership.

Experience

• Extensive experience in data science, machine learning, and statistical modeling.
• Proven track record of leading and managing data science projects.
• Experience in a leadership or senior role within a data science team.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala.
• Expertise in machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database management.
