McKesson is hiring a Lead Product Manager, Employee Design to support the employee base of 51,000 as they navigate the ‘Moments that Matter’ in their journey.  We are seeking an experienced product and portfolio leader to own the experience employees have with moments such as joining, growing, getting assistance and more.  In this role, you’ll be responsible for collaborating and guiding a team dedicated to improving the ’moment’ processes and tools by partnering with HR leaders, communications, change management, and technologists.  Through a consultative approach, you’ll have the opportunity to influence highly visible priorities that improve the satisfaction of employees.

Position Description and Key Responsibilities: 

McKesson is seeking a Lead Product Manager, Employee Design to lead employee experience design and HR process improvement across the enterprise. This consultant will have responsibility for establishing framework, ways of working, tools, and repositories for the EX team. They will lead complex, strategic, long-term initiatives focused on improving the daily processes, tools, and interactions our employees encounter. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing employee experience strategies that improve ways of working, productivity, and retention. 

  • Own the strategy and management of multiple key HR products and projects designed to improve the experience for our employees 

  • Partner with peers to gather employee feedback to identify gaps and measure our success. 

  • Serve as an internal consultant, prioritizing internal investments and informing long-term people strategy. 

  • Establish and apply guidelines for the use of design technology tools in the EX arena (e.g., design thinking, journey mapping, process mapping) 

  • Establish strong working relationships between design technology organization and HR, prioritizing initiatives based on employee impact. 

  • Accomplish work without considerable direction. Exert significant latitude in determining objectives of assignments. Anticipate change and direct or redirect efforts. 

  • Develop resolutions to complex problems that require the frequent use of creativity. Use judgement within broadly defined policies and practices. 

 

To qualify for this role, you must have minimum experience: 

  • 10+ years’ experience in large HR organization, preferably working in both COE and HRBP functions. 

  • Experience in a large, complex, matrixed organization 

  • Proven skill in leading cross-functional, high-impact projects and initiatives.

  • Understand the voice of the end user, and use EX tools such as journey mapping, employee listening, user experience research and design to inform HR strategies and initiatives.

  • Leverage data from a variety of sources to determine the ROI on people investments and measure the outcomes of our initiatives using data.

  • Use independent judgement to accomplish objectives. 

  • Make complex decisions shaped by data and stakeholder needs. 

  • Plan and prioritize work to achieve organizational goals. 

  • Tailor communication style to work well with stakeholders at varying levels. 

  • Build trusted partnerships to work with others on shared objectives. 

  • Influence people through effective communications, persuades with data, builds commitment and support of others. 

  • Operate with enthusiasm to take on new opportunities and tackle tough challenges. 

  • Demonstrate resiliency and situational adaptability. 

 

Additional Knowledge and Skills Preferred: 

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent experience preferred 

  • Six Sigma certification or equivalent experience preferred 

  • Change Management Practitioner certification or equivalent experience. 

 

Education  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree 

  • Master's degree in related field, preferred

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$130,700 - $217,900
