What We Need:

POSITION: Engineering Manager

JOB DUTIES: Lead, support and grow a team with diverse technical expertise to produce high quality products. Direct project teams in estimating, analyzing, designing, coding, debugging, testing and modifying new software or enhancements on existing software. Manage escalation and issue resolution for internal or external clients and stakeholders and provide input into project resourcing plans. Develop, maintain and execute a wide range of basic quality tests to ensure software applications meet or exceed technical specifications, company standards and enduser requirements through the team and individually. Review and/or gather test plan automation framework using WebdriverIO, Selenium, Telerik, Cypress or similar products. Improve the reliability and repeatability of automated testing and assist in risk analysis after becoming knowledgeable about the various environments and/or platforms in which company products and application systems operate. Participate in supervising activities such as conducting regular 1:1’s with team members, consulting with Human Resources to address employee relations issues, hiring and training new associates and overseeing training and mentoring of all associates on the team; hire, train, and supervise engineering staff members and use business knowledge to guide team technical decisions. 100% telecommuting allowed from anywhere in the U.S.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science or a related technical field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Experience must include 3 years in the following skills:

• Robust understanding of MySQL and RDBMS best practices.
• Version control flow systems (GIT).
• Agile software development.
• Continuous integration orchestrators such as Jenkins, Gitlab, or Github.

Experience must include 1 year in the following skills:

• PHP and Python
• Laravel PHP framework
• Cypress & Katalon
• Cloud service providers such as AWS
• JavaScript and server-side scripting languages.

OFFERED WAGE: $110,000 - $145,000/year
