Job Description

We seek an Enterprise Platform Engineer to advance the development of a modern enterprise integration platform that will process real-time event data through Confluent Kafka on the Cloud, API management, and Managed File Transfer.  The candidate will work on the platform setup, configuration, security, CI/CD, software development, testing, and automation.  This role will report to a senior engineering manager.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and Implementing Infrastructure: Creating and managing the integration platform that supports event streaming, API management, and MFT
• Working closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure the platform meets the application’s requirements and supports efficient development processes
• Ensuring the platform can scale to handle increased data volumes and optimize performance for a seamless user experience
• Assisting with the automation of routine tasks and maintaining continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes
• Developing and enhancing SDK for event producers and consumers, API gateway, API standards, and file transfer clients and services.
• Ensuring platform security, data protection, and overall system stability
• Monitoring system performance and resolving technical issues as they arise
• Creating system guidelines, manuals, and documenting processes for application teams to follow

The expected salary range for this role is $98,140 – $125130 per year

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience working with platform support, engineering, or software engineering
• Minimum two years of cloud platform experience, AWS or GCP
• Working experience on Kafka event streaming or API management
• Software development experience, Python, C#, and SQL
• Networking, CI/CD, platform automation experience is preferred
• Test automation experience
• Experience with git repositories such as Github or GitLab
• Microservices development and deployment experience
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
