About the Role:

We’re looking for a passionate Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Developer Experience team. This hands-on role will allow you to shape the future of our frontend while driving cross-team initiatives and advocating for best practices across the engineering department. You will collaborate closely with teams, act as an evangelist for frontend excellence, and help improve both the developer and user experience.

What You'll Do:

• Architect and evolve frontend infrastructure that enables scalable, maintainable, and accessible web applications, focusing on foundational components and tooling rather than individual product features.

• Collaborate with designers and engineers to build, ship, and maintain new frontend features, with a focus on UI/UX consistency and accessibility.

• Lead the adoption of best practices for frontend architecture, state management, data fetching, and testing.

• Evangelize and manage initiatives to improve frontend practices, reducing complexity, and drive high-quality standards as best practices across teams.

• Build and maintain our design system, ensuring consistency across platforms and easing cross-team collaboration.

• Review code, offer constructive feedback, and welcome feedback to grow continuously.

What You'll Need:

• Proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, and a solid knowledge of CSS, React and frontend architecture.

• Experience with design systems and accessibility best practices.

• Passion for writing maintainable and scalable code that improves both the developer and user experience.

• Experience with frontend testing and a desire to create well-tested code.

• Ability to thrive in a remote environment and have excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.

• Enjoyment collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to build better solutions.

Bonus points:

• Experience with Next.js, Redux, GraphQL and Apollo client.

• Knowledge of backend technologies (e.g., Node, Nest, AWS Services).

• Interest or experience in UX/UI design and the user research field.

• A sense of initiative and a great sense of humor to bring to the team!

We typically target the low - mid point of the salary range to allow room for growth within the role. Your salary is dependent upon many factors, including years of experience, expertise, etc. During your first interview, you can expect to have an open conversation with your recruiter regarding your compensation expectations.
