About the Job:

Required Qualifications:

• 4 - 8 years of experience in a DevOps and/or software engineering role.
• Experience in continuously improving CI/CD and infrastructure for better reliability, observability, performance, and scalability.
• Involvement in important architectural and operational decisions, including micro-services vs. monoliths, deployment techniques, technologies, and policies, while collaborating closely with engineering leaders, and architects.
• Development of products in the cloud-native ecosystem or architecting and developing tools to facilitate the adoption of cloud-native technology.
• Experience leading incident response and postmortems.
• Mentorship of team members and reviewing their work.
• Familiarity with technologies such as Docker, ECS, Serverless, Terraform, Postgresql, Redis, Cassandra, Kafka, Github Actions, Redshift, ElasticSearch (ELK stack), Datadog, New Relic, Prometheus, and various other Cloud Native technologies.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and concepts rapidly in the evolving field of cloud-native software.
• Bonus points for AWS experience implementing good SRE & security (DevSecOps) practices, expertise in running, managing, and automating production environments and experience building tools/utilities.

Must Have Skills:

• Proficiency in designing, creating, owning, and maintaining systems and service deployments in multi-cloud and container architecture, including AWS, Google Cloud, and Kubernetes.
• Strong hands-on scripting and software development fluency in languages such as Python, Go, Node, or Ruby.
• Solid understanding and experience in setting up build and release processes as a CI/CD expert.
• Expertise in modern DevOps tooling and concepts, including Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), Docker Orchestration, service discovery, and secrets management.
• Experience in creating Task definitions, which specifies the tasks, Resource allocation (Fargate), services and docker image on which application is built for Elastic Container Service and ALB.
• Experience with infrastructure automation using tools like CloudFormation, Terraform.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, or MongoDB.
• Understanding of micro-services architecture.
• Cloud-based networking experience, including HaProxy, WAF, ELB, ALB, SSL, NAT, and distributed multi-cloud VPC.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
