THE ROLE

Matific is seeking an Associate QA Lead to create best-in-class digital experiences for users of Matific. This role will involve testing Matific online teaching platform and working with our R&D team. Given the start-up nature of the company, you will need to be flexible and inventive in the delivery of your strategy. This role is based out of our office in Sri Lanka. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create execute and maintain test cases
• Perform functional and regression tests.
• Identify, report and manage defects in JIRA & experience in test management tools
• Assist in developing QA Test plans
• Develop a sound knowledge about Matific product suite
• Guide and mentor quality assurance engineers
• ​​Design, develop, and deploy automation test scripts.

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
• 5+ years of experience in QA web testing or software product testing 
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) & interpersonal skills
• Passion for Quality and Attention to details
• Self-starter with 'can do' attitude in a dynamic work environment
• Web and API Automated testing experience  
• Quality assurance testing related certification is a plus (e.g. ISTQB)
