Overview
Mastercard is looking for a talented Lead Full Stack Engineer - UI Development to join the Mastercard Foundry Research and Development team in our Pune office. In this role you will be part of a highly agile team building exiting and innovative products delivered at scale to global markets.
Our team is built on a foundation of research and development, mining innovation internally, innovating new product lines with emerging technology, managing new products from inception to market validation and engaging strategically with start-ups to shape the future of commerce with and for our customers. At Mastercard you will help define the future of commerce globally.
This team will have a diverse focus both in terms of geography and variety of technology challenges driving hard to bring innovative payment solutions to market.

Role
This role involves working with a team of talented developers to develop high performance AI based software solutions.
• Responsible for the analysis, design, and development of software solutions involving AI based features
• Contribute to the requirements for new applications and customizations, adhering to standards, processes, and best practices
• Ensure quality of one or more application codebases and alignment with development standards
• Applies technical capabilities within own discipline to coach and develop junior employees
• Designs highly complex applications, interfaces and integrations
• Integrates at an enterprise level using third-party middleware or messaging products, or by designing and implementing custom interfaces and mapping for those interfaces
• Group-wide and external public speaking and other communications conveying domain level directions
• Work with cross functional teams spread across geographies on new product innovation and R&D initiatives
• Work on publishing Research papers and filing IDFs and Patents for solution concepts in the field of AI
• Responsible for performance engineering of the enterprise software architecture, and providing functional guidance, advice, and/or training to other application developers
• Software development, code reviews and day-to-day support duties


Skills
• Minimum 7 Year's experience working on UI projects using HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experiencing developing UI screens which consumes Rest APIs. Good understanding of API calls and parsing the results returned by API's
• Good working experience working with frameworks like React and Angular
• Strong understanding of Web Programming
• Good knowledge of Jira, Git, Jenkins
• Development experience using Agile
• Expertise in coding using core JavaScript
• Writing Unit and Integration test cases
• Good troubleshooting skills
• Hand's on experience with performance improvements while loading a web page and calling API's
• Must have intermediate experience with UNIX/Linux
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure
• Experience with SQL and No-SQL databases
• Strong experience in developing RESTful APIs and microservices using Java
• Solid knowledge of Spring Boot, Hibernate
• Good Knowledge Azure Devops
• Experience in full-stack development with Java
• Experience designing scalable software architectures
• Exposure developing software applications involving AI based features is good to have
• Knowledge of Python and related Data Science ecosystem for architecting software applications is a plus (no machine learning knowledge required)
