Role Overview

// While our engineering teams build new features for our platform, our Launch Operations team is responsible for the onboarding, customization, and deployment of each customer to our SaaS platform. 

You will lead and mentor a team of junior developers and configuration engineers who will execute the configuration tasks, while analysing the work for automation and improvement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of technical tasks executed by a team of junior developers and configuration engineers 

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Engineers, and Business Analysts, to understand requirements and drive alignment towards common goals

• Implement and manage efficient workflow processes, using tools like Jira for backlog grooming and task management. Continuously identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce delivery time

• Provide mentorship and guidance to configuration engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Lead by example in adopting best practices and driving technical excellence

• Engage in Business Analysis tasks, ensuring that the team is working on the correct priorities aligned with business objectives. Analyze metrics and data to make informed decisions and drive strategic initiatives

• Identify opportunities to increase velocity and reduce manual effort through automation and tooling. Implement automated processes and tools to enhance efficiency and productivity across the engineering organization

About You

• Experience working in startup/scale up environments, accustomed to wearing multiple hats and adapting to evolving priorities

• Programming expertise, ideally in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Java

• Strong background in stakeholder management, problem-solving, and collaboration between teams

• Proficiency in workflow management tools such as Jira, with experience in backlog grooming and task prioritization

• Demonstrated ability to drive efficiency and improve delivery time through automation and tooling

• Excellent communication skills with a track record of effectively leading and mentoring engineering teams
