Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS. We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to follow through styles for production from the handover from development team to pre-production meeting. Coordinate with Garment Technologists and Pattern Technologists where needed, if production issues arise.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support to researching and identifying new materials, chemistries, suppliers and emerging technologies relevant to textile and apparel applications.
• Support evaluation and development of materials such as adhesives, polymers, silicones, TPEs, polyurethane systems, foams, films/membranes, coatings.
• Support material trials, testing, characterization and prototype-development activities.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal technical teams on material-development activities.
• Maintain technical documentation, material databases, project trackers and development reports.
• Support basic patent/prior-art research and IP analytics relating to material and technology developments.

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Degree in Chemical & Process Engineering, Materials Science and Polymer Science.
• Strong analytical ability.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
