Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Engineering team in the maintenance and troubleshooting of apparel manufacturing machinery and equipment.
• Support preventive and breakdown maintenance activities
• Assist in identifying mechanical issues and supporting corrective actions.
• Conduct routine inspections of machines and equipment to identify potential failures.
• Support machine setup, adjustments, and basic mechanical modifications where required. 
• Assist in maintaining maintenance records, machine history, and technical documentation.
• Support engineers in analyzing recurring machine breakdowns and identifying root causes.
• Participate in continuous improvement and productivity improvement projects. 
• Assist in implementing 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and workplace improvement initiatives.
• Support the Engineering team in monitoring machine performance and reducing downtime.
• Assist with spare-parts identification, inventory monitoring, and technical specifications.
• Follow all company safety procedures, engineering standards, and work instructions.
• Coordinate with Production and other relevant departments to support smooth manufacturing operations.
• Carry out any other engineering-related assignments given by the supervisor/manager.
   

Qualifications

• Following a Diploma / Higher Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. 
• Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering principles. 
• Basic understanding of machinery and mechanical systems. 
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing environment. 
• Good communication and teamwork skills. 
• Ability to work with Production, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams.
